About two weeks or so. :\ It was cute and sweet. Fucking ex tricked me into leaving him, pretty much. -How many boyfriends/girlfriends have told you they love you?: Every single one of them. -Have you ever thought that you were going to marry the person you were dating?: Yeah. -Have you ever loved someone so much that it hurt?: Yeah. -Have you ever made a boyfriend or girlfriend cry?: Yup. -Are you happier single or in a relationship?: It depends. I think I'm happier in a relationship, even though sometimes I feel like I wanna be free and do what the fuck ever with whoever I want to. 02:30 pm [Link]	Posting from work! So I'm posting from work. How, you may ask? Well, one because I am the boss's daughter (literally). Two because I am not officially on the payroll. And three: the idiots here who look up porn saved it to their favourites. rolls eyes I highly doubt I'll get in trouble for posting on my blog (I don't even think they know what a blog is). Today I had to help clean up the shop. Which involved dusting. Fuck. ALOT of dusting. But one thing I tried to concentrate on was getting rid of all the negative energy bullshit that seems to ping around this place alot. Especially when I mopped up the floors (which my grandmother has currently taken from me lol). I tried to concentrate on my mop shoving or destroying all the negative energy from the place, and I guess it worked! According to my grandmother and my father, the place definatly looks alot better, and my grandmother likes the feeling of the place.. I guess. Lol. Definately thought of Hestia alot of the time, but Zeus popped his head into my head as well! XD I suppose for the buisness aspect of this place. I want happiness and prosperity to come to this place, but I guess I'm not sure how I'll do that. Maybe I'll try some candle magic and see how that goes. But the best I've got is really cleansing the crap out of the place. I also got payed $40! XD yay for money! Don't know what I'm going to spend it on.. probably CDs so I can copy my information to upload to our new computer. sigh Good ol' computer.. you won't be missed because I'm not giving you up yet. You're still good! You just need an upgrade, cleaning out (both physically and electronically), and a nice user. xD Alright, well I'm going back to mopping and finishing up my job. Cya all later! 01:22 am [Link]	House cleaning! .. Sort of. Hm. Well.. apparently I got bit by the cleaning bug.. sort of. I cleaned up probably the most annoyingest part of my room, a bedside table I am tempted to use as an altar, as well as all of my rocks and shells that I have so far. That and the name Hestia keeps echoing in my head whenever I think about myself cleaning.. or anything. I actually splurged and wen and bought a desert rose (gypsum crystals formed that look like roses), some incense (it actually smelled really bad.. so I just kept the little elephant XD), and a fiery looking agate slice. .. 04:13 pm [Link]	Pagan musings, numero deux You know.. one thing I've noticed with alot of pagans is this whole "change" thing. And I'm not saying change is a bad thing, but its when they start talking about how we can't become attached to material things, that we have to throw ourselves to the mercy of Fate or whatever you want to call it, and constantly change at every chance that comes along. For me, that seems foolish. I'm a Taurus; I love material things. When I get a house I want it to be my place of 'peace and zen'. I want to build a HOME; a place where I am going to STAY for a long time and be welcome. I don't want to move the furniture every month, suffer through earthquakes or hurricanes, or move 10 times a year. I want stability, I want things to stay the same a few times. I want to moon over that pretty golden statue of Aphrodite and I want a big ass comfy couch with a big ass tv screen to curl up on friday nights and watch movies, instead of running around outside screaming my head off the sky sometimes. Sometimes I want that. I can't comprehend someone who moves like that. Those are wind people, who fly wherever they please; those are water people, whose moods and fancies change whatever they wish; those are fire people, who move onto greener pastures when the fire is no longer there. But thats not an earth person: we are hardy, strong, and stable. We don't want to flow away sometimes. Sometimes we want to relax on the beach and enjoy the sun for a little while, either in the sand or on a towel. We want long standing friends who will be with us through thick and thin; not several friends from different aspects of our lives. Sometimes we want to surround ourselves with things that make us comfortable. It is the negative Earth person that buys shiny, impractical things to make them feel good, hoping it will (but it won't). Its the practical and positive Earth person (aka Taurus) that surrounds themselves with quality but practical objects; like say a blanket that looks good but offers comfort and warmth. And why do we get the response "Obviously the universe/fate/whatever trying to help teach you a lesson: things move on." Well I'm going to march up to that universe and tell him or her that blanket cost me a helluva lot of money and I want it back. Earth people, especially Tauruses, do not take for granted what is working well in their lives. At least, that is, when we're not going into our "negative" phases. I kind of found it amusing that today, the day that I had gotten no sleep the night before and about 2 and a half hours later than afternoon, eating pretty much little at all, and then going to hang out at my boyfriend's with his other friend to play video games.. That eating some grapes made my day better. I smiled happily and thought about the coincidence. I need to enjoy life more. Know something: When you feel dead inside, and that life is not worth living, the person that said they would love you forever and would never leave you means it. Don't question it; go with it. And when you said it back, you didn't lie. You felt the exact same way. After awhile you start feeling again. You start living and watching life grow and change and die and be reborn around you. And then you'll wonder what the fuck you were on that made you think that way, why would you want to die? Why would you want to give everything up? Remember that and hold it close. I suppose this deals mostly with rivals in fics (Take Oliver/Marcus or Harry/Draco), but I absolutely hate it when the fic starts out with them hating eachother, right? And then all of a sudden one of them is like "Please I'll give you anything, tell you anything, just don't leave." Or "You can have every part of me, etc etc". First off, I don't know about you people, but I've never heard a guy say that. Two, if they hate each other, I doubt they'll do that either. It makes. No. Sense. Flies are buzzing above the trash, and maggots are feeding on the food scraps. The mess reeks and it's ugly. However, the local health authority say the situation isn't a risk to human health yet. "That's not the proper way, but our society today stinks," said Vancouverite Hanly Martin. Business owner James Jacobson has a private garbage pickup service. That has led some to dump trash either in the bin -- or simply behind the store. "We pay $150 a pop to get it picked up and because of the strike - they're throwing all their garbage here," he said, referring to the bin.
